Flick Fest in the news

Check out the Much News spot on Flick Fest (see June 9th). Much came all the way down to Estevan, Saskatchewan to make sure viewers across Canada could see some of the first ever FLICK OFF concert featuring City and Colour!

We're addicted!

Do we all need to enroll in some kind of intensive addiction counseling for our dependency on oil and coal?  While our addiction may not seem as serious as a cocaine user scraping together spare change to feed their habit, it’s displacing more people and debilitating our planet far faster than personal drug use ever will.

Thank you Estevan!

Now that Flick Fest has come and gone, we can surely say that Estevan, Saskatchewan knows how to rock!

We couldn't have asked for a better band to headline the evening than City and Colour!  Dallas Green was fantastic - a real performer.  And the crowd loved him.

What do you wanna be when you grow up?

Ever considered a “green” collar job?  Everything from solar panel installation to sustainability research positions and scientifically heavy lab jobs are popping up all over the place.

Take California for example.  The last few years have shown a crazy jump in the amount of jobs related to solar power. With over 7,000 solar jobs already, they plan to expand the industry by another 2,000 positions within the next year!

Congratulations Earth Hour!

Cities all over the world came together on Saturday night to make sure their voices were heard. Together we flicked off our lights in one of the largest global acts of environmental participation, to date!

It’s clear. People believe in the cause. We believe in environmental reform. We believe we can make a difference, if we all act together.
